Dog food, graded like a report card.

Every food we cover gets the same treatment: guaranteed-analysis math, ingredient-list reading, AAFCO statement check, recall-history lookup, and cost-per-day pricing. Then a plain-English grade.

What makes a good kibble?

Three things carry most of the weight: a complete-and-balanced AAFCO nutritional statement for your dog's life stage, named animal proteins (not vague "meat meal") leading the ingredient list, and a manufacturer with feeding trials or deep formulation expertise behind it. Price predicts quality weakly — some of the best-graded foods are mid-priced bags. Our label guide teaches the whole skill in ten minutes.
